Music Ally Podcast: Live Streaming in 2024 with On Air
On Air’s CEO Jakub Krampl joins host Joe Sparrow to discuss the live streaming landscape in 2024 and beyond
Cast your mind back to 2020, when the pandemic birthed a series of streaming services to fuel millions of people with their favourite entertainment at home – music, theatre, comedy, you name it. Fast-forward to 2024 and the buzzworthy trend has seemingly had its time in the spotlight, raising the question – what does the live streaming space look like now?
Making a special appearance on Music Ally’s podcast, On Air’s CEO Jakub Krampl reveals everything from what artists and audiences (notably superfans) expect from live streams to key marketing engagement and how the industry is not as quiet as it seems, as Jakub explains:
“We’ve moved from the experimental phase, where services were trying various things and matured into a business focused on creating high-quality content with the right user experience.”
“It’s also about creating content for them (the artist) that can be used for marketing purposes or engaging with a specific fanbase who aren’t able to attend their shows, and ultimately to enjoy their shows over and over again – it’s becoming apparent that people want to relive those experiences.”
