On Air teams up with Mercury Studios to deliver even more live entertainment.

As concert streaming filters into popular culture (and as a streaming service championing this growth), we’ve signed a distribution deal with content studio Mercury to make fans’ music dreams come true. Sifting through their historic 2000-hour archive of concerts, festivals, and documentaries, expect no shortage of performances from pop superstars, rock gods, jazz pioneers, reggae legends, and more at home.

Growing our existing catalogue of live concert streams – starring musicians Zara Larsson, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, and Bombay Bicycle Club amongst others – we’ve rolled out several of Mercury’s once-in-a-lifetime shows in recent months, with more to come.

Latest additions include world-famous artists, spanning Frank Sinatra, The Rolling Stones, Fall Out Boy, and Duran Duran, as well as Etta James, Bob Marley, Peter Gabriel, Madonna, and Arcade Fire.

Jakub Krampl, co-founder and CEO of On Air, reveals more about the partnership, which seeks to expand global exposure opportunities (offering a viewer experience in 190+ countries) and monetisation for all IP owners, labels, and artists on our DRM-protected platform:

“We’re here to support the distribution of catalogues and monetization of long-form content in 4K with Dolby Vision and Atmos technology”, continuing “On Air provides an end-to-end service to artists, labels and rights holders — all backed by a cutting-edge tech stack.”

Rob Gill, SVP Global Operations at Mercury Studios, adds:

“On Air provides an exciting opportunity to showcase the breadth of Mercury Studios’ programming, from award-winning documentaries to concerts by iconic artists like Eric Clapton, Miles Davis, Chicago, Jeff Beck, Cypress Hill, and INXS. This partnership with On Air will further expand the reach of these remarkable performances.”

Live and breathe music? These are for you. Mercury Studio’s shows are available to watch with unlimited replays through our website, mobile, and TV apps, with prices starting at £8.99.
